Gary Dayan, born and raised in Chicago, spent his young adult years managing large teams in many different industries and slowly fell in love with the world of construction. In 2002, he launched Xced Builders, evolving into Xced Design Build in 2016, where he is known for his drive, passion and commitment in leading his team and partnering with others in the process of building and transforming both residential and commercial projects throughout the Chicago-land area. His authentic charm and charisma welcomes others to the joy of the industry, but it’s his candor, truth and integrity to the higher standard that inspires the many people he affects each day.
Our Senior Interior Designer, Chelsey Jackel, has been making her way through Chicago-land for 15 years and continues to find new ways of nurturing her skillsets in both design and leadership. She leads the Xced Design Studio team move through a variety of projects every year. Her passion for transformation and historical appreciation keeps her grounded during the creative development of many residential remodels and commercial build-outs. Chelsey is known for her deep desire for human connection and powerful relationships as the center of her work here at Xced.

spaces since 2000. Originally established in 1996 and founded by Gary Dayan, who has over 20 years of experience in the industry and
